ABOUT OKANTO

Okanto plans, builds, and furnishes workplaces, and moves teams into them. Each project spans the life of a new or renewed office, from the first talks about how a team works to the morning it arrives in a space ready for business. All construction is performed by licensed contractors held to the Palm Sterling standard.

A workplace shapes how people collaborate, focus, and grow. Okanto designs each space around the way a team works: where it gathers, where it needs quiet, and how it is likely to change over the coming years. The result is a workplace that supports the people within it, reflects the culture of the organization, and is delivered on a schedule and a budget each client can count on from the very outset.

WHAT IT DOES

Planning and design set the foundation. Okanto develops a workplace strategy and space program, prepares test fits for prospective sites, and carries the design through to finished drawings. Fit-outs and renovations, from a single suite to multiple full floors, are built by licensed contractors under Okanto’s direction.

Furniture, fixtures, and equipment are selected, procured, and installed to suit the design and the budget. Move management covers the inventory, labeling, packing, and coordination with technology teams, so each desk, file, and device lands in its place. After the move, Okanto handles the punch list, later moves, adds, and changes, and the decommissioning of the former space to meet its lease terms.

WHO IT SERVES

Okanto serves companies at moments of growth and change: a growing team leasing its first office, an organization expanding onto new floors, or a business consolidating several locations under a single roof. Each shares the need to make the change well and on time, while the people and their work carry on uninterrupted.

Okanto also serves property owners and managers who prepare space for tenants. The work includes spec suites built to attract new leases, tenant improvements delivered to the terms of a lease, and renewed lobbies and amenity spaces that raise the appeal of a building. Facility teams with an ongoing stream of moves and reconfigurations rely on Okanto as a steady partner who knows their buildings well.

HOW IT WORKS

Every project rests on a discovery phase that captures headcount, work styles, growth plans, and the priorities of its leadership. From that comes a written program, budget, and schedule that guide every decision about the space, so the client knows the scope, the cost, and the timeline from the start of the engagement.

Each project has a single lead who manages it from the first sketch through the final walk-through and post-move support. That lead coordinates architects, engineers, licensed contractors, furniture vendors, and movers, and keeps the client informed with regular updates on progress, budget, and schedule. Every item on the punch list is fully closed, and the space works as intended from its first day.
